Dear Parents and Carers,
As you will no doubt have seen in the news, the NEU teacher’s union has voted to strike on a number of additional days in June. The seventh & eighth of these days is Wednesday 5th July & Friday 7th July.
All Class Teachers at St John’s will be taking strike action. As a result, all classes will be closed.
For a small group of vulnerable children and those children of critical workers, there will be support given in school, if required. For further information about this, please contact the school as soon as possible.
During this closure all pupils entitled to a Free School Meal are able to access a ‘Packed Lunch’. This will be available to collect from the school kitchen from 11.00 am to 11.30am, please contact the school office if you require a packed lunch.
